Bob Fry -Owner/Trainer - Started the Edge back in 1997 with his son Aaron fulfilling a life long dream of becoming a trainer. Started lifting weights in the early 70s developing alot of the techniques that still work today. After a life of owning a cabinet shop and construction company with his father he decided that it was time to open his own gym after training his son for football rekindled his fire for weightlifting. During construction of the facility he began the lengthy certification process through AFAA and PTO. And now 10 years later works mainly with our personal training clients and most of the early morning groups.
Aaron Fry -Owner/Trainer- NASE Certified - After playing wide receiver for Otterbein he began his new career of becoming a strength coach and natural body builder. Through a passion for football began lifting weights in his fathers garage at an early age and has not stopped. With his background in Athletic Training he also got his certifications through PTO and AFFA with his father. And after working with Coach Al Johnson he also obtained a certification through NASE(National Assoc of Speed and Explosion).He is also currently studying at the Relson Gracie Ju Jitsu Academy. Aaron works with our personal training clients as well as our athletes and specifically our new MMA athletes.
Bill Cook -Trainer -NASE Certified- Started working with Bob in the original Edge back in the mid 90s. After playing college football at Tiffin University began working at Team Edge in 2001 after obtaining his certification through AFAA. Also after working with Coach Alan Johnson obtained a certification through NASE. Works primarily with our athlete clients and a couple of our group training clients in the evenings. He also created and maintains the website and answers any questions from the web.
